Heddon - #14 Featherweight Thorobred, 7'6" 2/2 0 3/4F (4wt) Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Heddon #14 Featherweight Thorobred, 7'6" 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in very good condition. The guides on the butt section are rewrapped and the whole rod received an overcoat at some point. A desirable configuration with the 0 3/4 ferrule, although the #14 Thorobred was a lower grade rod. All sections are straight and full length, and the ferrules fit nicely. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6" cork grip (cleaned at some point, leaving some minor ridging), and red Pyralin reel seat with dark hardware. Weight is 3.91oz. A fine 4wt with medium fast progressive action. One of the more sought after Heddon trout tapers. Sold in the original bag (patched at the bottom, data label intact and legible) and original tube (the tube label has seen better days).
