Hi-Mod terminals are an alternative to swage terminals designed for easy installation on site with basic hand tools. The unique crown ring arranges the wire strands for even spacing around the fitting eliminating the need to bend wires around the cone which ensures the cone is in the proper location. Hi-Mods do not require the use of sealant in the fittings. You can, however, fill them with a non-acidic polysulfide or better marine-grade sealant.
