To give you an idea of what the Imabari Certification guarantees: it is a strict quality standard from Imabari, Japan, where towels must pass 12 tests, including the “5-second rule.” A 1 cm² unwashed fabric sample must sink within 5 seconds of touching water. This confirms strong absorbency, durability, colorfastness, and suitability for everyday use, including sensitive skin.
