Mandarin Nat Pro - Capua 1880

Capua 1880 is a family run Italian producer of citrus oils with over a century of expertise in crafting the finest products for fine fragrance, however, in 2025 at the SIMPPAR perfumery convention, they unveiled their innovative Nat Pro and Nat Infuse product ranges. Mandarin Nat Pro is a "cold recovery" extraction from mandarin juice waste (aqueous phase byproduct) of regular mandarin oil production. This member of the Nat Pro range particularly impressed us here at The Fragrance Foundry. The technology captures some of the volatiles lost in the regular oil production, resulting in a product which smells exactly like the juicy flesh of a mandarin (unlike regular citrus oils which usually smell more like the peel). 

Note this extraction contains some residual ethanol and TEC which is used in the extraction process. Thus we technically class this product as a base. This does not hinder its use in perfumery.
