Designed by Antonio Citterio for Maxalto, the Caratos chair expresses a refined balance between comfort, elegance, and technical precision.

The padded backrest develops along a dynamic, continuous line with a soft and enveloping profile, performing a dual function as both back support and armrest. This fluid design enhances the chair’s welcoming character while maintaining a rigorous aesthetic.

The supporting structure, made entirely of die-cast aluminum, reinforces the chair’s architectural clarity and contributes to a carefully engineered ergonomic design aimed at ensuring optimal comfort and well-being.

In this version, the Caratos high chair is upholstered in Dallas fabric in a refined gray mélange tone, paired with a graphite-painted metal finish that underlines its contemporary elegance.
