Money Maker' Jade Succulent

The 'Money Maker' Jade Plant (Crassula ovata) is a succulent house plant with bright green hues on its thick green leaves. The plant stores water inside these tough leaves so they do not need to be watered often. In fact, the most common detriment to these plants is over-saturation of the soil; so be sure to let the soil dry out before you go to water it again. A well-draining soil such as a cactus mix is a great addition to prevent the soil from retaining too much water.

This houseplant is fairly slow growing so it will maintain a compact shape, especially when used as a houseplant. In areas where it is hardy (zones 9 through 11) the Money Maker Jade Plant can reach 2 feet tall and wide when planted in the ground.
