The Myojo Chukazanmai series is one of the sub-brands of instant noodles manufacturer Myojo. These instant cup noodles allow you to experience the taste of premium Chinese restaurants in Japan. This product is the instant version of sura tanmen noodles and advice on its recipe is provided by Akasaka Eirin.
Sura tanmen (“Suan La Tang Mian” in Chinese), also known as Chinese hot and sour soup noodles, literally has an exquisite harmony of sourness and spiciness. Myojo’s sura tanmen, on the other hand, adds fluffy egg to give the soup a refreshing sour and spicy punch.
The Akasaka Eirin is one of the long-established Chinese restaurants in Akasaka (this restaurant moved to the Kagurazaka district in 2021), and is very famous for sura tanmen.
Remove the packet of liquid soup that is attached to the lid.
Peel off the lid just below the halfway point, then pour hot water until the water level reaches the line on the inner side of the cup.
After pouring, close the lid, and wait for 4 minutes.
Remove the lid, then stir well. After mixing these ingredients, the ramen is ready to eat.
