RADIESSEA® is the only filler that immediately replenishes lost volume and stimulates the production of your own collagen.
Radiesse is a one-of-a-kind injectable treatment the only CaHA that FDA approved for use in the lower face and hands.
Radiesse is a dermal filler that is used to restore volume and enhance facial contours. It's composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel. When injected, Radiesse provides immediate volume and stimulates the body's natural collagen production, leading to longer-lasting results compared to some other fillers.
The calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in Radiesse act as a scaffold to provide instant volume and lift to the treated areas. Over time, the body gradually absorbs the gel carrier while collagen production is stimulated around the microspheres. This helps maintain the volumizing effects as the gel is metabolized.
Radiesse injections typically provide results that can last up to a year or more, depending on individual factors such as metabolism and the treated area. Maintenance injections may be required to sustain the desired outcome.
Common side effects of Radiesse injections are generally mild and temporary, including redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection sites. These effects usually subside within a few days. In some cases, lumps or bumps might develop, but these can often be massaged by the healthcare provider to achieve a smoother result.
Serious side effects are rare but could include infection, allergic reactions, or lumps that require more intensive treatment. To minimize risks, it's essential to have Radiesse injections performed by a trained and experienced medical professional in a sterile environment.
As with any medical procedure, an individual's suitability for Radiesse injections should be determined through consultation with one of our providers. They can assess your goals, medical history, and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan to achieve the desired results safely.
Safety:
The most common side effects include redness, bruising, swelling or other local side effects. Most side effects of treatment resolve within a few days. More rare side effects may include swelling that lasts longer, unevenness or firmness in the area injected or risk of infection. Please see the IFU for full product and safety information.
